Potato Soup

2-1/2 cups potatoes
1-1/2 diced carrots
1-1/2 diced celery
1 small diced onion
3 c milk
2 c half and half
1 pkg real bacon bits or cooked bacon drained and crumbled
1 cube butter
1/2 c flour
1 c grated cheddar cheese
parsley flakes salt and pepper to your taste

saute onion in butter. Make thicken with flour and butter. Add milk and half and half. Add diced carrots. Add sauted onion, celery and potatoes. cook till tender add bacon and cheese stir till melted. Last add parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
